it's inevitable - a post on project runway...
I must say it's now my favourite show! it's like the apprentice - fashion style.
i want to post reviews and critiques of each episode, but i never have time and i'm still haven't seen the first two episodes - they keep playing it during class time.
This week, they had to create a garden dress with only supplies from gardening and florists stores (so leaves and flowers and such). that was super hard and a good episode.
here are my favourite three:
Daniel V never disappoints, and this episode his dress stood out far above anyone else's. He did the dress with such gorgeous flowers and colours. Nobody else seemed to want to use flowers, but he did it beautifully. He also made the leaves shine without adding the plasticky look (which Santino did). The basket weave waist band was so good too.
Chloe is always one of my favourite consistent ones. She never gets picked on with the lowest scores, and she always gets by to the next round (duh, she's still here). I think the judges should give her more credit. She always thinks about her target customer, she is practical with what could be done in such a short time and it's always look so finished and lovely. This week, she won me over by (1) putting on SOO many leaves on her dress and finishing, (2) she made the dress look like fabric (which nobody could do). I love Chloe.
Kara really surprised me this week - she hasn't impressed me much so far. Her design was more intricate and prettier than Chloe's, and i especially loved the back (which isn't shown here). BUT i disliked the mossy skirt. Moss just doesn't look pretty to me.
